Suction Hose– A popular suction hose for general water transfer or removal is the Clear/White suction hose, constructed of an PVC compound that is abrasion resistant and having a rigid polypropylene helix.  This hose is rated at full vacuum.  The clear PVC suction hose allows the operator to see the water flow and due to this visibility the operator can check if the strainer is doing its job of preventing harmful solids from passing through the pump.

Where trash and solids need to be pumped out, our Rubber suction hose will be a better match.  With and EPDM rubber tube offers a greater wear resistance than the PVC water hoses.

Discharge Hose– When it comes to discharge hoses, the most popular hoses for general water removal are the lay-flat style ones available in standard duty and medium duty grades used for open end water discharge.  The standard duty lay-flat hoses are used for discharging water over horizontal or declining grade, since it has a very low psi rating of 30-80 psi.  For higher grades requiring a higher pump head pressure, higher rated hoses like the medium duty discharge hose with a 150 psi rating is used.
